General Accommodation Information

University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC or U of T) housing is independent of Klironomia Hellenic Folklore in Canada (Klironomia). Klironomia will not be responsible for any housing-related matters. U of T campus will only be monitored and policed by campus security and Toronto Police. Klironomia volunteers and committee will not be held responsible for any evictions to any participant(s) and / or chaperone(s).  Each house / apartment with minors under the age of 18 years must include an adult over 18 years of age.  No guests are permitted to stay on campus for the duration of the conference.

ACCOMMODATIONS / REGISTRATION

Housing registration will take place at the Student Residence Centre (SRC) beginning at 9am on Friday, May 15^th, 2026 until 11pm. Please visit the Parking tab for details on parking on campus when staying in residence.

Conference participants and chaperones may stay in university townhouse-style residences or condo-style apartments, whichever is available.

Townhouses are clustered together in an attractive area among the trees, sleep four (4) to six (6) people each and have single or double rooms with individual room keys. Each townhouse is self-contained, has its own entrance, and includes bathroom(s), a living room and kitchen.

The apartments are located in a building near the townhouses, sleep four (4) people each and have four (4) single rooms or rooms with bunk beds. Each apartment includes its own bathroom, living room and kitchen.

Each kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave only. There are no stoves – hot plates and air fryers are not permitted.

Each person is asked to bring their own bath towels and kitchen items.

SWIPE CARDS, KEYS, AND FEES

Each person may or may not receive a white swipe key, metal key, or parking swipe card.

Each person receives a meal card.

Fees for lost / not returned keys or cards will be charged the following to the credit card provided:

Klironomia and U of T Conference Services will do their best to accommodate any housing requests, however it is not guaranteed that they may be fulfilled.

Adjustments to housing arrangements may be required, ie., four (4) people becoming six (6) people, and vice versa.
