All participants and chaperones will attend the Klironomia Gala on Saturday, May 16th, 2026 at:

The Metropolitan (formerly Metropolitan Centre)
3840 Finch Ave. E.
Scarborough, ON  M1T 3T4
Doors Open: 7pm

All those staying in residence will be transported via school bus to the Gala.  Any participants or chaperones not staying in residence are also welcome to take the bus.

Anyone travelling on their own must arrive at the hall before 7pm.

All buses will depart from the Student Resident Center at the same time at 6:30pm SHARP.

All performers must be in costume on the bus. No exceptions.

Group leaders are responsible for ensuring all of their members are on the bus, where applicable.


Arrival at Gala

  • Only performers can enter the hall to go upstairs to the change rooms to drop off their belongings. Everyone else will go directly in front of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (weather permitting) for a group photo.
  • Change rooms are for performing groups only.
  • Performances will begin at 8pm SHARP.
  • Performers will change after all performances have finished.
  • All guests will be served dinner at 8pm. Performers will eat after their performance.


Departure to Campus

  • Buses will be provided at four (4) time slots – 1am / 1:45am / 2:15am / 2:45am.
  • Anyone who wishes to depart at any other time must do so at their own expense by calling a Taxi / Uber.
  • Participants under the age of 18 years must have a chaperone or instructor present to be on campus.

The Klironomia Hellenic Folklore in Canada (“Klironomia”) Dance Conference, its elected supervisors, volunteers, and its designated drivers, will take every precaution for the safety of every participant, chaperone, instructor, and musician. They will not be responsible for any individual or group supervision for the duration of, or following the Gala at The Metropolitan.  In addition, they will not be responsible or liable for loss of property or damages, or any incident, accident, any injury to anyone’s person, or death while participating or travelling to and from any of the conference designated locations.


Additional Ticket Sales

For additional tickets to the Gala, please fill out the form below and send an etransfer of the amount to info@klironomia.ca, stating the name the tickets have been purchased under in the memo.
